A Tribute to My Uncle Don

Four and a half years ago, I wrote and recorded this song to mark the 50th wedding nniversary of my Aunt Betty and Uncle Don.  Like me, Betty was full-blooded Irish, while Don was full-blooded Italian.  As the song points out, the idea of this marriage wasn't well-received by my grandfather, right up to the day of the wedding.  From that day forward, however, and until my grandfather's death, he and Don became the closest of friends.

Uncle Don passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 29, 2006.  This is for him and Betty.
